Bourland Field Rules and Regulations

 

 

1.       Monthly rental rates are for space only. Each tenant will be required to obtain his or her utilities if applicable. If utilities are made available to your space the cost to gain meter access will be billed directly to the tenant by the utility company. If applicable water will be furnished by Bourland Field but wasting of water will incur a fee.

 

2.       Place all garbage in receptacles. Littering will not be tolerated. Do Not place oil in receptacles. Oil must be place in designated areas only. Storage of fuel or any flammable material in the hangar is forbidden. The hangar must be kept in an orderly and neat condition in compliance with the airports standards. The lessee is responsible for the removal of weeds and garbage and placing the in the garbage receptacles. The lessee is responsible for mowing and sweeping etc. in and around the space or hangar leased by the tenant.

 

3.       Parking at the airport will be near (or inside of) the hangar, tie down or in some other designated area. Parking is not allowed on active taxiways or in front of a hangar or tie down.

 

4.       Fast driving on roadways or fast taxing on taxiways is forbidden. Speed limit for any vehicle should not exceed the taxi speed of the aircraft (roughly 15 mph).

 

5.       Pilots must adhere to the airport traffic patterns. Pattern altitude is 1,700’ all turns are to the left. The first turn after takeoff should never be made less than 1,200’ MSL. Entry to the pattern is by a 45 degree angle. A call on Unicom frequency (123.0) should be made upon traffic pattern entry, downwind at midfield, crosswind, and base leg. Formation flying, formation landing, or takeoffs are forbidden.

 

6.       No aircraft will be moved on taxiways/roadways without radio contact on the Unicom frequency. (123.0)

 

7.       Before entering a runway, clear the area for landing aircraft and advise on Unicom frequency.(123.0)

 

8.       Only authorized vehicles are allowed on the ramps. Authorization can only be obtained from an officer of Bourland Field, Inc.

 

9.       Because of the activity at the airport, slower ultra-light aircraft are discouraged. Stacking of ultra-light aircraft or any aircraft above other aircraft in hangar is forbidden.

 

10.   Student training (including landings and takeoffs) must be authorized and approved prior to any such training activity.

 

11.   If applicable, hangar doors must be kept closed except for ingress and egress.

 

12.   These policies and rules may be changed from time to time but a master copy will always be available for your study.
